CMS which is Turkey’s leader and the fourth biggest wheel producer of Europe has been receiving the recompenses for the investments it has made during 10 years. The company exporting wheels to the most important automobile firms of the world has received many awards due to the performance it showed with the endorsement of 234 million 600 thousand Euros in 2011..
Bertuğ Ösen, the Vice Chairman of the Board, said that they made an investment corresponding to 121 million Euros in total for the last decade, and 60 million Euros of this investment was made in the last two years; and continued his speech as follows: “Our amount of production has increased at the rate of 400% considering the period of last 10 years. Most part of this amount belongs to the last two years with an increase of 57%. Last year, with the sale of 5 million 650 thousand pieces, we exported 86% of our business volume. 14% of this amount has been sold to the automotive manufacturers in Turkey.” Ösen saying that they predict an investment corresponding to 14 million Euros for the next year stated that they aim at increasing their amount of production to 9 million in the year 2015.

Bertuğ Ösen was so proud of being appreciated and said: “The fact that we are on the right path is proved by the awards we received. We were deemed worthy of the Certificate of Achievement for Sub- Industry by the Automotive Industry Association. In the research conducted based on the data of the year 2011 we were entitled to receive this award as a consequence of the evaluations made in terms of quality and delivery reliability, cooperation in the technology development and affordable prices. We also came in second in the category of “Export” for the TAYSAD performance awards announced in the Ordinary General Assembly held by TAYSAD (Association of Automotive Parts & Components Manufacturers)”
CMS was awarded with another prize by the Turkish Aluminum Industrialists Association. As a consequence of the evaluation, CMS ranked 158 in the list of “ISO Turkey’s 500 Biggest Industrial Enterprises of the year 2011” by gaining 51 more points in comparison to the last year. This way, it preserved its place in top 10 among the industrial enterprises participating from Aegean Region. CMS that ranked 64 in the research conducted by the Capital Journal named “Most Valuable Brands of Turkey” aims to be in top 50 next year.
