CMS Jant ve Makina Sanayi A.Ş. broke the record in 2011
CMS playing first chair to be the world leader in the light metal wheel sector with its experienced product development infrastructure and its innovative approach it applies in the wheel production, it showed an unexpected growth in the year 2011.
CMS planning to increase its production capacity to 9 million pieces until 2015 with the third facility to be started with an investment of 60 million Euros will be the third biggest wheel producer of Europe.
CMS setting a higher standard each day by combining its 30 years of experience with the cutting edge technology it uses obtained an increase at the rate of 48% in the year 2011. The company that is in a cooperation with the world leaders of automotive sector such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche produced 5,5 million pieces in total last year.
86% of the production is exported
CMS exporting 86% of its total production, provides Toyota Group (Toyota and Lexus), VW AG (Audi, Bentley, Seat, Porsche and Volkswagen), Daimler Group (Mercedes Benz and AMG), PSA Group (Peugeot and Citroёn), Fiat Group (Lancia and Alfa Romeo), Renault Group (Dacia and Nissan) and BMW brands with wheels abroad. The Company working with the automobile producers in Turkey such as Toyota, Oyak Renault, Tofaş and Honda Turkey produces over 200 Wheel models.
The new factory has 100 thousand square meters of area
CMS that made a significant breakthrough with the investments it made after the year 2005 and is the biggest aluminum Wheel producer of Turkey is getting prepared to put its new factory into service for the next months. As the sales regarding the vehicles in D and E segments have increased, CMS made a decision related with the investment for the third factory; it will provide the lux automobile producers with a part of 600 thousand pieces in total it made in the year 2012. CMS, that will be third biggest wheel producer with the new capacity, is planning to produce 9 million piece of wheels in the year 2015. CMS, that spent 60 million Euros for the new investment that will be founded as the third production facility in İzmir, will provide employment for 500 people in addition to increase of endorsement and production increase. New facility has 100 thousand squaremeters of area.
CMS continues to receive more awards
CMS that deemed worthy of “Cost Performance’’ awards by Honda Turkey and Honda England in the year 2011 won the third prize in the category of ‘Maximum Export” and awarded with the “Best Brand” prize by the Chamber of Industry of Aegean Region. CMS that was announced as ‘the Most Exporting Company in the Automobile Sector’ by Aegean Exporters’ Association last week continues to receive more awards day by day.
