CMS: Aegean Export Star of the Year 2010 in Automotive Sector
CMS was awarded as ‘The Company Exporting Most in the Automotive Sector” in the Export Awards granted each year by the Aegean Exporter’s Association.
Export Star Awards granted each year by the Aegean Exporter’s Association were given to its winners in the previous days. In the organization where 41 Association members performing 5 milliard dollars worth of export of the total amount of 15.1 milliard dollars worth of export performed in the Aegean region in 2010 were awarded, CMS with its export revenue of 194.169.826 dollars in 2010 was granted with the award of “The Company Exporting Most in the Automotive Sector”.
Zafer Caglayan the State Minister in charge of the Foreign Trade, Mustafa Cahit Kirac the Governor of Izmir, Mehmet Ali Susam the Member of Parliament of Izmir, and Mehmet Büyükeksi the Head of the Turkish Exporters Assembly along with a group of the invitees including the managers and representatives from the Association members participated in “The Award Ceremony for the Export Stars of the year 2010” organized by the Aegean Exporter’s Association.
The award granted by Zafer Caglayan the State Minister in charge of the Foreign Trade in the Award Ceremony of the Aegean Exporter’s Association of the year 2010 was received by Berat Osen the Chairman of the Board on behalf of CMS.
Zafer Caglayan the State Minister who addressed a speech in the award ceremony said: “Turkey’s geographic and strategic location, also Turkish entrepreneur’s, craftsmen’s dynamism and dauntless challenge give important missions to all of us to bring Turkey to a better place.”
CMS, one of the top 10 biggest manufacturers of the Turkish automotive supply industry exports wheels most to the countries such as France, Italy and Germany the heartland of the automotive industry. CMS export-orientedly manufacturing for some brands such as CMS, Toyota, VW AG (Audi, Bentley, SEAT and Volkswagen), PSA Group (Peugeot-Citroen), Fiat Group (Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia), BMW, Renault and Mercedes manufactures wheels also for the manufacturing companies in Turkey such as Toyota, Renault, Fiat and Honda.
